Die 3 Danses (Tänze) für Tuba und Klavier, in kontrastierendem Stil geschrieben, sind für das Rezitalrepertoire des modernen Tubisten bestimmt.
Der erste Tanz, Molto Tango, in Form von Strophe/Refrain vebringt uns nach Argentinien. Der zweite, Passacaille à deux, ist melancholisch, eine Art Reminiszenz an die glücklichen Momente unserer Kindheit. Der letzte, Gigue tronquée, ist ein systematischer, spielerischer Kampf zwischen der Tanzbewegung und störenden Elementen der Entwicklung; ein, wie zur Zeit der barocken Suiten, lebhafter und dynamischer Schluss.
The 3 Danses (Dances) for tuba and piano, written in a contrasted style, supplement the recital repertory of the modern tubist. The first dance, Molto Tango, of form verse/refrain makes us travel in Argentina. The second, Passacaille à deux, is melancholic, like a reminiscence of happy moments of our childhood. The third, Gigue tronquée, is a systematic and ludic fight between the dance movement, and the disturbing elements of the development. It constitutes, as at the time of the baroque suites, a lively and dynamic end.
Les 3 Danses pour tuba et piano, écrites dans un style contrasté, sont destinées au répertoire de récital du tubiste moderne.
La première, Molto Tango, de forme couplet/refrain nous fait voyager en Argentine. La seconde, Passacaille à deux, est mélancolique, comme une réminiscence d'instants heureux de notre enfance. La troisième, Gigue tronquée, est une une lutte systématique et ludique entre le mouvement de la danse et les éléments perturbateurs du développement.
